Get Your White Card & Start Working in Construction
Thinking about starting work in construction? Your first step is getting your White Card. At Real Training Outcomes, we deliver practical, easy-to-understand White Card training so you can step onto site safely and confidently.
Why You Need a White Card
In Australia, anyone who enters a construction site to work must complete General Construction Induction Training (White Card).
Your White Card proves that you:
understand common construction hazards
know how to follow safety rules and use PPE
can respond correctly if something goes wrong
Without a valid White Card, most employers simply can’t let you on site.
What You’ll Learn
During your White Card course you’ll cover:
Roles and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers
Common hazards: heights, electricity, plant, manual handling, noise, dust and more
Basic risk management – identifying, reporting and controlling hazards
Correct selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Construction site signage, housekeeping and traffic control basics
Emergency procedures and incident reporting
Your rights and responsibilities under WHS legislation
